work, work
Ok so I haven't been on here lately. That's cause it was a crazy weekend with friends and on top of that craziness during the week I just have endless amounts of work.
So the next three weeks updates will be scarce but here's a quick update of things:
Ryan Reynolds is Hal Jordan aka GREEN LANTERN. GREAT THING
Natalie Portman is Jane Foster in THOR. Also Great
Lady Gaga has 3rd #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40.
That's it for now. Don't worry this blog is not dead.
Included is my new favorite song from Brooke White (was on American Idol) called Radio, Radio.

Kirk's Dad is the God of Thunder

Movie news on Thor the movie.
The actor that played Kirk's dad in Star Trek (George Kirk) has been cast as Thor in Kenneth Branagh's movie. I'm glad they cast a somewhat unknown but Chris Hemsworth (pictured above) is gonna have to seriously bulk up.
Tom Hiddleston has been cast as the trickster god, Loki.
This comes out summer 2011. If they do this right; it should be incredibly awesome.

Where art Thor?

After Matthew Vaughn (Stardust) has delayed beginning to direct Thor due to his filming of a new comic book adaptation of Kick-Ass. So we have a new director and it's very surprising:
Kenneth Branagh
The famed Shakespearean actor and director who has directed such non-Shakespearean movies such as Dead Again and Frankenstein and his last film was the financial failure As You Like It of the famed Shakespearean comedy.
The Thor script is written by by Mark Protosevich, screenwriter for the recent Will Smith hit I Am Legend. Marvel describes it as their Lord of the Rings and the plan is for Thor to be in Marvel's future team movie, The Avengers.
